Make a 2D platform action game: a little traveler carrying a lantern crosses a forest swallowed by black fog, lighting the beacons along the way. - Gameplay: run, jump, wall jump and dash with precise controls (coyote time, jump buffering, variable jump height). The lantern lights up the area around you, and platforms in the dark only appear when lit. Stomp enemies or drive them off with light. - Levels: 3 levels (forest, cave, clock tower) plus 1 boss fight. Each level hides 3 collectibles, and the results screen shows time and collection rate. - Polish: smooth character animation and feel, the mood from the light mask, and checkpoints with quick restarts after failing. It should feel like a proper indie game: a consistent, original and distinctive art style (pixel art or hand-drawn, pick one and stick with it), with care for animation, particles, screen shake and sound so hits and controls feel right, and a game-like UI; a title screen, pause, settings, results and a local best score, with a short controls tutorial on first play; English UI and text; fully playable with keyboard, mouse or gamepad on desktop, and playable in landscape on phones.
